India’s petrol and diesel sales saw significant increases in September, driven by the festival season and higher vehicle sales following GST reduction. Petrol climbed 7.5% and diesel rose 6.27% year-on-year. Conversely, jet fuel sales declined for the third consecutive month, while cooking gas demand also grew robustly.
