GAIL (India) Ltd has partnered with Tata Steel to supply natural gas to its Combi-Mill plant in Jamshedpur, marking GAIL’s largest industrial customer onboarding in its City Gas Distribution project. The agreement ensures a supply of natural gas until March 2026, scaling up volumes thereafter, contributing to reducing the carbon footprint of steel production.
